Texts from FFXIII is one of many fandom Texts from Last Night blogs, which combines screenshots from a certain fandom with content from the website Texts from Last Night. It began in December 2011 when its admin got bored while studying for finals and out of a love for pretending that Lightning is drunk all the time started to slap some TFLN texts onto FFXIII screenshots. Since then, the blog has achieved fans both on Tumblr and elsewhere on the internet. In November 2012, the blog was even featured on Kotaku, and soon after this it was recognized by some of the FFXIII voice actors on Twitter. 

The blog runs off both images created by the admin and submissions from others. Although it mostly sticks to just TFLN images, it will sometimes contain other miscellaneous FFXIII-related things, especially if Drunk Lightning is involved.

ABOUT THE ADMIN

serenitas is a 21-year-old lady who enjoys cute things, dead languages, and Caius Ballad. The idea of Drunk Lightning has been in her mind ever since her freshman year of college when a playthrough of FFXIII led to speculation that Lightning has secret affairs with Snow when drunk. When she’s not TFLN blogging, she can be found chilling with her fantastic roommates, tap dancing, sporadically writing, consuming media, or drowning in schoolwork.
