i agree with what you said about lightning, but you're wrong in how you said lightning only cried in her dlc. in ff13, we see her shed a single tear when she's standing with snow in the field and touches him on the back.

(Incidentally, that’s also a scene that I think is really important to Lightning’s development because it’s when she and Snow really start to see eye-to-eye on things.)
